Privacy Policy
I strongly condemn the modern practice of collecting and profiting from user data.
Neither my personal website nor my macOS apps (Classic Color Meter, Pixel Winch, Embrace, and Noisy) use any form of automated analytics or telemetry. No information is collected about you nor is any information transmitted over the network without your explicit consent.
My website contains a contact form. If you enter personally identifiable information into this form and send it to me, it goes through my web server (hosted by Akamai Cloud) and then to my e-mail server (hosted by Fastmail). I use this information solely to reply to you.
One of my apps, Embrace, generates very detailed logs which contain all user interactions as well as Set List contents and song metadata. These logs are only transmitted when you explicitly send them via the “Send Logs…” or “Send Crash Report…” menu commands. If you report an error, I may ask you to send this information so I can fix the error.
I may keep data indefinitely. While I try to follow best practices and delete submitted information after it is no longer needed; I also make copious encrypted backups, which may inadvertently store data.
By using my website or macOS apps, you consent to this privacy policy.
If I decide to change this privacy policy, I will post those changes on this page.
